Would I be entitled to compensation?
You are entitled to claim compensation if you have sustained injuries in the last 3 years from an accident that was not your fault. In a child case, a claim can be submitted up until the child reaches the age of 21. We assist with compensation claims for personal injuries suffered as a result of many Types Of Accidents.
Whatever the cause of your accident, if it is not your fault, we will try to assist you with your claim
How much would my claim be worth?
Each case is different. The amount of compensation depends on a number of factors, including the extent of your injuries, loss of income and other financial losses.
Further advice will be available from the solicitor dealing with your claim.
How are the costs of my claim funded?
You & your solicitor will enter into a "conditional fee agreement" "Subject to insurance, other costs may be payable by you" and if necessary, the solicitor will recommend you with an ATE (after the event) insurance policy to protect you against any potential costs.
You have a 14 day cooling off period where you can cancel your claim, thereafter if you pull out you will be liable for the solicitors basic charges and disbursements.
What do I have to do?
You will be expected to co-operate with your solicitor and provide information to him when requested. Do not do anything to delay or prejudice your claim.
Your solicitor will be there to guide you through the process.
Will I have to visit a solicitor?
No, you will deal directly with your appointed firm of solicitors who will correspond by phone or post. Your solicitor and legal representatives will be there to answer any queries that you have with regard to your claim and will do all they can to obtain the best settlement for you.
